This privacy policy describes how the Math Patty application for Android ("Math Patty" or "the app") handles information on the device where it is installed. Math Patty is developed and published by James Warkentin ("the developer").
1. Information collected
Math Patty does not collect, transmit or share any personal information. The developer receives no information about users or about how the app is used.
Math Patty contains no user accounts, advertising, analytics or crash reporting.
2. Internet access
Math Patty does not use the internet. The app does not ask Android for permission to access the internet, so it cannot send or receive anything.
3. Information stored on the device
Math Patty stores the following on the device:
- The high score lists. Each saved score holds the name typed when it was saved, the number of correct and missed answers, and the time the game took.
- The name most recently typed, so the name field is filled in the next time a score is saved.
- Whether sound is switched on or off.
A name is saved only when a player chooses to save a score and types one. Any name can be used, including a nickname or initials.
This information remains on the device. If the user has enabled Android's backup service, Android may include it in the device backup stored in the user's Google account. Uninstalling Math Patty removes it from the device.
4. Children
Math Patty is suitable for children. It does not collect personal information from children or from anyone else. It shows no advertising and no links to other apps or websites.
5. Changes to this policy
If a future version of Math Patty changes how the app handles information, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised accordingly.
